The next installment in the popular zombie film series “The Walking Dead” is still in the works, but the film is expected to begin filming in mid-August, according to the director of the next film series.
In an interview with Polygon, Todd Howard, who is directing “The Last of Us 2,” explained that it is currently being filmed in Atlanta and New York.
“There’s going to be a new movie coming out next year, and I don’t think that we’re going to shoot it until August,” Howard said.
“We’re working on it and we’re shooting it right now.
We’re not really sure when it’s going, but we’re definitely excited to do it.”
Howard said the studio that is making the film, Gale Anne Hurd Productions, has not confirmed when the film will be released.
However, he said that it will take place in “the near future.”
“The Walking East” has already filmed eight episodes.
“The Last” is the first film series to be adapted from a comic book series.
It was released in May 2018 and was praised for its unique storyline and unique characters.
The film has already grossed more than $2.5 billion at the global box office.
The first installment, “The Wicker Man,” which also starred Norman Reedus, was released on July 27, 2020.
“The Next,” the second film in the series, is scheduled to begin shooting in September 2020.
Both films are expected to be released in theaters in 2021.
