A woman in her 30s has died after undergoing a cosmetic surgery on her face and face and neck to make it appear younger in a film that was made about her life.
The woman, who is not identified, was found in a car parked outside a pub in the western Australian town of Egan on Sunday morning.
Emergency services responded to the scene and pronounced her dead at the scene, the Egan Courier-Mail newspaper reported.
It is unclear whether the surgery was done on the woman’s face or neck.
Her body was taken to Egan City Hospital for an autopsy, where her condition is described as “critical”.
“The woman died at the hospital,” police said.
The man who performed the operation, a man in his 30s, is being questioned by police.
Police say the woman had undergone a facial reconstruction, an eyelid reduction and liposuction in recent months.
