The Patriots quarterback, who won the Super Bowl this past year with his team, is still reeling from his 2016 season, as the team struggled to win games after his departure from New England.
Brady told the Boston Herald that he has had some “internal dialogue” with former quarterback Matt Ryan, but he was disappointed to not get a chance to work with Ryan in 2017.
“I’ve got a couple conversations to have with Matt, but it was hard for me to see him,” Brady said.
“It was tough to see Matt in the first place.
I wanted to see some stuff.
I didn’t have any conversations with Matt.
It was tough.”
He also said he has not spoken with the former Falcons quarterback and said he was still not sure if he would be interested in working with Ryan again.
Brady also said that he will not be coming back to the Patriots this year.
“As I’m getting older, the game is getting more and more important,” Brady told CBS Sports.
“You can’t have a whole life and then not play football.
You have to do it.
It’s part of your life.
It becomes more and less important as you get older.”
