DUNE is back.
And with the release of DUNE: The Final Chapter, fans can finally relive some of the glory days of the 1980s sci-fi adventure film.
There’s also the opportunity to re-enact the famous ‘D’ from the original movie, which was played by Peter O’Toole in the film.

The story of the first Dune movie was based on a novel by Terry Kavanagh and was based in part on the novelisation of the film written by Robert Louis Stevenson.
The film stars Harrison Ford, Alden Ehrenreich, Mark Ruffalo, Linda Hamilton, Ben Mendelsohn, Sean Bean, David Bowie, and a host of other actors.
In addition to Ford, who plays Dune’s leader, the film also stars Tom Cruise, Michael Biehn, and Kate Mara.
The directorial team behind the DUNE trilogy includes screenwriter Brian Grazer, producer Dan Fincher, writer-director Michael Arndt, writer Doug Jung, and screenwriter-producer Joss Whedon.
The first DUNE film was released in 1977.
It earned $6 million worldwide and is considered one of the most successful action-adventure films of all time.
It has been remade countless times in various incarnations, including the 1995 re-release as the original Aliens: First Strike.
The sequel, DUNE 2, was released on August 2, 2019.
It also earned $3 million worldwide.
DUNE 3: Dune Returns was released last year and earned $8 million worldwide, including $2 million in North America.
The third DUNE movie is set to be released on October 5, 2020.
It stars Tom Hanks, Michael Caine, and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
The release of the Daughters of the Abyss movie is slated for December 21, 2020, and it’s also directed by Mark Wahlberg.
The Daughters are a race of intelligent humanoid creatures that live on a planet that has been invaded by a sentient race called Aenarius.
Daughters will also have their own unique and unique backstory.
The new Daughters movie will feature a character called the ‘Viper Queen’ who will fight for the Aenearians.
It will also feature new footage from the movie, including footage of Dune 2, including a sequence from the film’s first scene.
DOUBLE THE BATTLE!
The DUNE franchise was a huge success in its day.
It won Oscars for Best Picture and Best Director for Christopher Nolan.
It opened in the Summer of 1977 and became a worldwide smash.
It had five nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Cinematography.
Dune: The Third Dawn was released to rave reviews, but it did not open in the same market as the previous two Daughters movies.
It made $40 million in the States, but only made $20 million internationally.
The next Daughters film, Dune 3: The Last Battle, was originally set to debut in March 2018.
But Warner Bros. pulled the plug on the movie in February 2019, and Dune will not be released in North American theaters until 2019.
