The UK’s Channel 4 is set to launch a film series called ‘The Black Dog’ in 2019, marking the first time the UK’s biggest film distributor will be releasing films on the streaming service.
According to an article from The Independent, the new series will follow the exploits of a small town in the UK and follow up on the 2016 film series ‘The Boy Who Died’.’
The Black Dogs’ will feature a new lead, John, played by Matt Damon, and follows his exploits from the start of his career in the entertainment industry.’
The Boy’ is the first in a new trilogy of films that will see a character who will be the face of the franchise in the years to come.’
Clifford The Big Red Dogs’ is set for release on Netflix in 2019 and is being produced by The Big Show Studios, a production company formed by BBC Studios and Sony Pictures Television.
