The ‘The Kids Next Door’ film franchise, the first series of animated shorts to air on Fox Sports in over a decade, is coming to the UK on April 24, 2018.
The first instalment of the series, The Karate Kids Next Day, will air on Channel 4, Sky, Sky Sports and the BBC iPlayer.
Following the UK launch, the series will be simulcast on the BBC One and the ITV Network.

“The series’ unique style will have fans and critics across the globe re-examining their favourite characters, with viewers discovering and sharing their favourite memories from the first five years of the franchise.”
The Kids are so relatable and relatable characters that they can make anyone laugh and be entertained, making them an ideal companion for any child who’s interested in the world of kids.
“The first four episodes of The Kombat Kitten series, which will be available to watch on Channel4 on April 9, will include clips from popular games such as ‘Mario Kart’, ‘Mario Tennis’ and ‘Pokemon’.
‘The Kombat Kids Next Dog’ film is the third instalement of the popular video game series, set in the fictional city of The Neon City, a futuristic dystopia ruled by the tyrannical Zebra.
The series will air in cinemas on April 22, 2018 and will be released to the public on May 16, 2018, with the film also available to stream online.
The series will also see the return of ‘The Ninja’ franchise, which starred Riz Ahmed and features his own voice acting and animations.
The Ninja series is set in an alternate timeline in which The Neon Empire has been dismantled, but remains in the midst of its transformation.
The show stars Riz as a young Ninja in his early 20s, but will also have its roots in the franchise’s first three instalments.
‘Unbreakable’ film, featuring a female lead, will premiere in cinemases on Channel 5 on May 9, 2018; the film will also be available for streaming online and on demand.
A new episode of the sci-fi action series, ‘Unbreakables’ will be the next film to be shown on Channel Five, and will air the following day on Channel 6.
Unbreakably will be produced by the same team who brought us the highly acclaimed film, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’, with a special featurette and trailer on Channel 7.
With the arrival of the UK release of ‘Unlock the Force’, the first season of the Disney XD series ‘Star Wars Rebels’, will return to the Disney Channel in 2019.
Star Wars: Rebels will be presented by Disney Channel’s Disney XD and will feature original programming alongside Marvel’s Avengers, Star Trek, Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels.
Disney XD will be hosting a series of special events for ‘Star War: Rebels’ fans across the UK, featuring exclusive Star Wars and Disney merchandise, including ‘Star Trek: The Animated Series’ t-shirts, posters, posters from Star Wars Legends, collectible collectibles and more.
In the UK alone, Disney XD will host over 200 events, including a fan meet and greet, ‘Starwars: Rebels Celebration’ in London, a screening of the first three episodes of ‘StarWars: Rebels’, and the premiere of the ‘StarWarS: The Official Fan Film’ on Disney Channel.
Discovery Channel is set to premiere a new series of episodes of its ‘StarTalk with Jim’ series, starring Discovery Channel’s own Jim Caviezel and James Cameron.
Jim Caviesel is a world-renowned astrophysicist, author and producer, best known for his award-winning television series ‘Discovery’ and the film, StarTalk with James Cameron, which premiered in the US on Discovery Channel.
The original StarTalk series ran from 1990 to 1994.
