The New England Journal of Medicine and Science in Sports & Exercise , the largest medical journal in the country, published an article about the film series on Monday.
The paper said that the film, which is about the Snowden leaks, will cover the period from March 17, 2013, to March 25, 2021, and the author, Mark Ames, will “explore the complex intersection of personal, political, legal, and economic issues” surrounding the NSA revelations.
Ames is currently the editor-in-chief of The Guardian newspaper in Britain.
The Times’ decision to cover the film and its coverage of the Snowden documents is not surprising, as the Times and the Guardian have long collaborated on reporting on the NSA.
“Snowden was a whistleblower, but his stories were not about whistleblowers,” the paper wrote in a news release.
“The Snowden story is about an organization that is responsible for the deaths of more than one hundred thousand people.
It is not about the surveillance state, the military, or intelligence gathering.
It’s about the power of a government to break people and turn them against each other, and it is about who gets to keep those secrets.”
The paper did not name the documentary film, but the news release noted that it is a “film about a whistleblower who broke the most important story in our history.”
The Times article noted that Ames has “long been fascinated by surveillance,” and that the series will “show how that culture and its implications affect us today.”
The series will also examine the impact of government surveillance on “everyone’s privacy and the privacy rights of ordinary people,” the Times stated.
Ames’ book, which he co-authored with his wife, Molly, was recently published by Simon & Schuster, and he also has written a number of nonfiction books.
The first film was made by the documentary filmmaker David Milch, who said in a statement that it was “an important piece of the puzzle in understanding what it means to be an American citizen.”
“The book was the culmination of a year of work on this film,” Milch said.
“In 2017, as I have written about before, there was a lot of work that went into the production of this book.
This book has provided an important window into the ways in which the United States government is engaged in our daily lives, and how it abuses our most basic rights to privacy and privacy by the state and the federal government.”
